You may have seen it in the tweets, Menno and Lennart crashed into the road 3km before the finish!
Menno is full of scratches, Lennart was unharmed, both were shocked, the rest of the team as well of course. They got picked up with the van, and the Red Cross folks treated both of them. Menno's bike is probably a write-off, Lennarts bike is fine and got checked by the technical team supporting the tour.
Although this is seriously painful for the Menno and Lennart, we're thankful that no bone or head injuries happened.
Both riders slept quite well, under the influence of pain killers, but were quite stiff in the morning, all muscles hurting. By the way, two new folks were blamed for serious snoring, keeping others awake...

Enorm bedankt voor de update. Het thuisfront is natuurlijk ook geschrokken.
Heel veel sterkte voor de pechvogels( de bikkels!) en het team zal ook vandaag wel weer laten zien dat het een TEAM is.
De Cauberg komt in zicht!
