Day 7 - The Incredibles

Today is going to be a long ride, 225km to Grand Halleux, north of Bastogne, which might take 10 hours to complete. The start is early, 7:15, so we had to get up really early, while still dark.

Menno and Lennart slept ok, but their muscles are stiff from the crash yesterday. They decided to start today anyway. I think we should call them The Incredibles from now on. Hopefully all will go well, they have al the support from the other riders, who will do their utmost to guide them to the finish tonight.

Given the fact that Menno's bike can no longer be used, he had to pick the spare bike for the day. Then again, having a Pinarello Dogma for a spare is not a bad thing at all, in some way I guess Menno is happy to get to ride the spare to the finish!

And poor Menno's bike, sadly at the back of the camper

We zullen jullie morgen met veel bewondering verwelkomen op de Cauberg !
De champagne of het biertje staat al koud en jullie fans staan jullie vol ongeduld op te wachten.

Nog een goed herstel voor de gekwetsten en go for it !
