After lunch, Paul, Ben and Chris biked to the hotel, some 20 km away from the planned location, but plans were changed drastically last week.
All teams were supposed to be in the same hotel, but that was closed unexpectedly, so the teams had been dispersed across various hotels in the area.
After getting to the hotel, all luggage, bikes and other material had to be unpacked and reorganized to be ready for departure on sunday. It took a couple of hours, but managed to get all sorted by 19:30, just in time to grab some dinner in the hotel.
After dinner, the team went through some final points for the big day. At 22:00, most of the team were getting ready to get some sleep, last phone calls were made, and bikes were checked out once again. hopefully having done all to prepare for the first stage, the trip to the Alpe d'Huez on sunday.
